Rooms at Intercontinental Mauritius

The Intercontinental has 210 rooms to choose from, of which, 40 are family suites. All the rooms are sea facing to give you the best views out over the bay, widely regarded as one of the most stunning parts of the island. If you are feeling like some extra extravagance then upgrade to either a deluxe room or one of the presidential ocean suites which have their own private terraces and whirlpool baths. They are found on either the first or the second floor providing you with incredible views of the Indian Ocean.

Food and facilities

There is a wonderful variety of restaurants and bars dotted about the resort, suitable for everything from casual afternoon drinks to romantic fine dining in the evening.  The five restaurants have distinct environments and specialise in different cuisines, but all use the freshest local ingredients to make dishes that reflect the multitude of cultural influences that reside in Mauritius. Each night is different, with classic Asian dishes at the Noble House Restaurant one evening and then the Senso restaurant with its western and European dishes the next.

Activities at Intercontinental Mauritius

The activities available at the Intercontinental are orientated towards families and providing as much entertainment as possible for them. Children will love spending their days in the Planet Trekking Kids Club where they will be pampered by the lovely attendants. During the evenings there is live entertainment for you to enjoy, ranging from live bands to traditional Indian dances and Sega shows. There is also an extensive health and fitness centre with offering breathtaking views over the bay as well as the Yuj Spa if you prefer a more relaxed approach to your health and wellbeing.
