Constance Prince Maurice has a lovely beachfront setting in Poste de Flacq on the north-eastern coast of Mauritius, 35km from the capital, Port Louis.

The suites and villas, set under thatched roofs, are luxurious and spacious, and combine traditional features with 21st-century luxury, with fresh whites and warm woods. They come with plush beds, mini-bars, stylish bathrooms and private furnished balconies or terraces to relax on and soak up the gorgeous views over the tropical gardens or the sea. Some of the Junior Suites and villas have direct access to the beach, others sit on stilts overlooking a natural fish reserve. The Family Suites have two bedrooms and a sitting area, with plenty of space for all the family.

The villas offer even more space and luxury, with separate sitting and dining areas, and many also have a private pool for additional indulgence.

Food & Drink

The excellent restaurants serve everything from Mauritian-style cuisine to fresh sushi. For the ultimate romantic dinner, try Le Barachois, a floating restaurant that combines delicious dishes, including fresh seafood, with a spectacular setting overlooking the lagoon and the mountains.

Enjoy a post-dinner drink at the floating bar, set on the Indian Ocean with peaceful views and relaxing music, creating a soothing ambience in the evening. The Laguna Bar overlooks the pool, offers refreshing drinks and live entertainment. Try one of the 25,000 wines in one of the largest wine cellars in the Indian Ocean - a must for wine lovers!

Facilities

The spa is an absolute treat for the senses - centred around a courtyard, this is a tranquil haven to relax in and treat yourself to some blissful pampering. As well as a variety of treatments, there is a heated pool, a cold plunge pool and a sauna. You can also take a dip in the tranquil infinity pool, with views overlooking the sea.

There is a kids club to keep younger members of the family entertained, and for when you just need a bit of 'you' time. Activities range from local crafts and cooking to scavenger hunts.
