Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort sits on the Dhaalu Atoll, on a powdery white-sand beach surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean – a secluded haven.

Rooms at St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort

The accommodation, unsurprisingly, is grand and luxurious - choose from beach or overwater villas, all of which come with their own private pool and gorgeous garden or ocean views. They are individually decorated, taking inspiration from traditional Maldivian style. The overwater villas are located near the resort's house reef and have overwater hammocks, sunloungers and daybeds from which to enjoy the views and watch the sunset.

Food & drink

The resort has a range of different restaurants that serve a variety of cuisines, from Asian dishes to local delicacies at the all-day Alba restaurant, as well as Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Italian offerings, with fresh seafood a speciality. A candlelit dinner on the beach is a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion.

The aptly-named Whale Bar sits on the water, with an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean over tapas and cocktails.

Facilites

Head to the overwater Iridium Spa for some ultimate relaxation and treat yourself to a massage, or unwind in the yoga and meditation studio. Take a dip in the infinity pool, with stunning views of the sea, or have a workout in the 24-hour fitness centre or on the outdoor tennis court, surrounded by palm trees. Visit the top of the observatory tower for fantastic views over the island.

Activities at St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort

With a PADI dive centre, this secluded resort offers some amazing scuba diving and snorkelling in an underwater world teeming with hammerhead sharks, dolphins and manta rays. You can also try sailing, windsurfing and jet-skiing, or set sail on a romantic sunset cruise on the resort’s luxury yacht, Norma. If you have the family in tow, they are guaranteed to be kept entertained at the children’s club.
