The Maldives: home to crystal blue seas, powder sand beaches, world-class diving and an abundance of sensational resorts, it’s tough deciding where to go. However, with a beach to rival all beaches, an island of astounding natural beauty and a resort offering five-star luxury facilities and services, the award-winning Kanuhura makes a terrific choice.

Perfect forCouples and families looking for a slice of Maldives luxury.
In the knowThe beaches in the Maldives are sensational and in our opinion Kanuhura has one of the very best. The spectacular sandy beach has no rocks and fringes crystal-clear turquoise water that is the perfect depth - not too shallow and not too deep.

Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Kanuhura has an idyllic setting on the remote Lhaviyani Atoll in the Maldives, surrounded by beautiful gardens and pristine beaches.

Rooms at Kanuhura

The beautiful villas come with luxurious interiors and private verandas overlooking the azure lagoon. They are positioned around the island, to make the most of the sunrise and sunset.

Food & Drink

You'll have a choice of excellent restaurants and bars, in stunning beachfront settings. The A Mano restaurant offers live cooking stations and themed buffets, and the Veli restaurant offers delicious Asian fusion cuisine, but our favourite has to be the champagne dinner under the stars on Jehunuhura, a deserted island minutes away from Kanuhura.

Chill out during the day and watch the sunset with a cocktail at
Iru, a bar and lounge which comes complete with lounge tents and beach rocking chairs.

Facilities

Facilities include a large freshwater pool and an irresistible spa (it wouldn’t be the Maldives without a fabulous spa), where you can unwind at the beachside spa pavilion. This haven of tranquillity's treatments are inspired by age-old traditions from around the world.

Activities at Kanuhura

There is an abundance of activities to choose from - Kanuhura offers beach volleyball, floodlit tennis courts, an air-conditioned squash court, table tennis and a games room, as well as yoga and aerobics – and that’s just on land. On the water there are speedboats, canoes and jet-skis. There is a PADI diving centre, to ensure you make the most of the fantastic snorkelling and diving on offer here - this is a chance to see a wide range of marine life, including sea turtles. You could also take a trip around the coast on a luxury catamaran.

For younger members of the family, there is a children's club offering a wide range of island adventures as well as educational nature programmes.

If you prefer to take it easy, simply relax on the beach, while children young and old will love the beach swing, strung between the palm trees.
