At Huvafen Fushi there are naturally modern beach and water bungalows. Choose where you sleep, in a bungalow over the lagoon or in a beach bungalow under the swaying coconut palms. Each room is filled with all the mod cons, Bang & Olufsen phones, plasma TV screens and pre-loaded iPods. The rooms also have their own private plunge pools and sunbathing decks.

Where to eat and drink? It’s your choice. Celsius for laid back outdoor dining? Wood-fired pizza and homemade pasta at the Italian-inspired Forno? Japanese cuisine at Salt? Raw, for healthy dining? There’s a gym to work off the previous night’s excess and for the more actively challenged, the Lair, a library/lounge with internet and satellite TV.
