Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Sitting on its own private island in the Maldives’ South Ari Atoll, Constance Moofushi is a classic desert island paradise, with white sand, swaying palms and jungly interiors.

Rooms at Constance Moofushi

Accommodation at Constance Moofushi is spread across luxurious beach villas and water villas above the water, which combine modern comfort with traditional touches - think thatched roofs, wicker lampshades and screens and woven wooden ceilings, with furniture carved from light wood. At the beach villas, sliding French doors open onto private balconies, where you can kick back and take in views over the ocean, and steps lead down to the beach.

The most exclusive room type, the beautiful Senior Water Villas, sit on stilts floating above the ocean and feature open-air bathtubs where you can bathe beneath the stars.

Food & drink

There are several bars and restaurants, all offering fantastic food and drink in a relaxed, tiki-style atmosphere overlooking the sea. Manta is a buffet restaurant set on wooden walkways which has a different theme each night. At the Manta Bar, you can sit indoors or outdoors on the beach and enjoy tropical cocktails, beer, wine and more, accompanied by the sounds of the DJ.

If you fancy dining with the sand between your toes, head to Alizee, a beach grill which specialises in fresh seafood from the Indian Ocean, alongside grilled meat dishes. The Totem Bar, also on the beach, serves drinks throughout the day alongside light bites, sandwiches and burgers - have a nightcap under the stars here.

Facilities

The spa is a relaxing sanctuary, spread across wooden huts leading off a walkway above the water, with a wide range of wellness treatments and therapies to help you unwind even more. Wraps, scrubs and massages are on offer in the private treatment rooms, while yoga sessions are also held in a dedicated pavilion.

Activities at Constance Moofushi

The beautiful waters of the South Ari Atoll will be the setting for most of your adventures here, with a sunset cruise on a traditional dhoni sailboat a beautiful way to round out each day, and you can also enjoy dolphin-spotting boat trips. Go snorkelling or diving around the coral reefs, with PADI scuba diving courses also available, allowing you to meet magnificent creatures such as manta rays, sea turtles and stingrays, among many others.
