Hotel Overview

On Piccadilly, by the beautiful Green Park in the heart of London, close to numerous boutiques, restaurants and galleries.

Rooms at The Ritz

There are 134 opulent rooms and suites from superior king and queen rooms to the royal suites, all designed in lavish Louis XVI style with colour schemes including blue, yellow, pink and peach tones. The antique furnishings, silk drapes and plush carpets add to the regal style, while you can wake up to sweeping views over the park. With the Putting on the Ritz package, you get a bottle of champagne in your room on arrival, English breakfast and afternoon tea for two, while the Kidz@TheRitz service offers special treats for children, from welcome gifts to free ice-cream in the restaurant.

Food and facilities

The Ritz restaurant is both an architectural and gastronomic showcase, where you can feast on gourmet cuisine amongst marble columns, neoclassical statues and floor to ceiling windows, beneath glittering chandeliers and ornate ceiling frescoes. The menu, while French, is inspired by British classics, from Welsh lamb to Yorkshire rhubarb grown by candlelight. Enjoy the sounds of a band as you dine, and in the summer, have lunch on the beautiful flower-filled terrace, which has an Italian mosaic floor and overlooks Green Park. Afternoon tea in the elegant Palm Court, with delicate sandwiches, cakes, a pot of tea and a glass of champagne, accompanied by a pianist, is a must.

Activities at The Ritz

After a day’s sightseeing, shopping or theatre-going, indulge in a facial or massage in the tranquil salon, or head to the Art Deco-inspired Rivoli bar for a cocktail.
