Thyme House is the main 8-bedroom house set within its own walled garden, with rooms featuring woollen fabrics woven from the estate’s own furniture house, Teseal at Southrop. Surrounding the estate, there are five self-catering cottages, able to sleep from two to 16 people, decorated with antique furniture and paintings by local artists.

Food and facilities

With kitchen gardens designed by award-winning landscape and garden designer Bunny Guinness, breakfast is served with delightful views looking out of double aspect sliding doors. Dinner can be taken at The Swan at Southrop, a 17th century inn with open fireplaces and a skittles alley.

With a food school, Thyme at Southrop Manor offers demonstrations, talks and full-day classes in stunning bulthaup kitchens.
