Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Thyme has a pretty setting amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds.

Rooms at Thyme

The rooms and suites are designed in a quintessential English country house style, with plush beds and antique sofas, and some have rolltop baths. The rooms at the Lodge are all individually styled and include a vintage Hollywood-inspired room, complete with a home cinema. The Farmhouse, set in a beautiful country garden with a traditional boules court, includes a drawing room, while the rooms in the Courtyard are housed in a beautifully-renovated 17th-century farmhouse. There are also two cosy cottages, with between two and four bedrooms.

Food & Drink

Enjoy meals beneath the wooden rafters of the medieval Tithe Barn, created with fresh produce from kitchen gardens designed by award-winning landscape and garden designer Bunny Guinness, Enjoy pre-dinner cocktails in the Baa, which occupies the former lambing sheds, before having dinner at The Swan at Southrop, a 17th-century inn with open fireplaces and a skittles alley.

Facilities

With a food school, Thyme offers demonstrations, talks and full-day classes in stunning bulthaup kitchens. You will not only be learning how to cook but learning skills such as foraging, butchery, baking, and wine tasting.

There is also a blissful spa and a pool filled with natural spring water.

Activities at Thyme

With a wealth of walks dotted around the picturesque countryside, take a gentle stroll along the River Leach to explore the charming villages and neighbouring towns of the Cotswolds.
