An hour and a half from London, near the delightful country village of Lyndhurst.

Rooms at Lime Wood Hotel

Lime Wood Hotel has 14 cosy rooms and 15 galleried suites, each with a fantastic view of the New Forest. With the odd eccentric touch, the rooms feature an eclectic mix of antique and bespoke furniture combined with carefully selected artworks and a bright ambience. The spectacular Pavilion 1 has lime green walls, high black ceilings, a roll-top bath and a gold chandelier. This swanky suite is breathtaking, with views of the surrounding forest- and as it's separated from the main house, it's the perfect choice for families or honeymooners wanting privacy.

Food and facilities

With a formidable Michelin pedigree, chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder create locally sourced English dishes with a respectful nod to Italian culinary ideologies at the Hartnett Holder & Co Restaurant. The whitewashed Scullery offers brasserie styled, all day dining with a bright and cheery atmosphere- expect to see a menu of sausages and mash, burgers and fun twists on British classics.

Activities at Lime Wood Hotel

With the country pursuits of horse riding, archery, falconry and rambling, get outside for a spot of fresh air. With Lymington only a 20 minute drive from the hotel, there are ferries to and from the Isle of Wight, where you can visit the donkey, monkey and wildlife sanctuaries.
