Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Set in lush gardens fragrant with lavender and overlooking the forests and fields of the Surrey Hills, Beaverbrook is surrounded by natural beauty. The estate itself includes meadows, gardens, a trout lake and woodlands – all waiting to be explored.

Rooms at Beaverbrook

The rooms at Beaverbrook exude traditional luxury, with tasteful colour palettes of rose white and duck egg blue, floral curtains and plush carpets, and extremely stylish bathrooms replete with vintage bathtubs, sinks and fittings. The luxurious suites have an open-plan design and large seating areas, and the Turret Rooms nestled in the eaves of the house offer lovely views over the grounds.

Food & drink

The rolling countryside of the Surrey Hills provides the perfect ingredients for your stay, but the focus is international at Beaverbrook’s several world-class restaurants. Chef Taiji Maruyama presides over superb gourmet offerings at the Japanese Grill, while the Garden House serves delicious Italian-inspired dishes like beetroot burrata and crab chilli linguine. The Coach House Deli is more informal, with hearty pizzas, fresh salads and other favourites.

Facilities

The Coach House Health Club & Spa is a beautifully relaxing space, with an indoor and outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna as well as an ‘English bath house’, inspired by a Turkish hammam. Treatments on offer include Swedish, Thai and shiatsu massage, exfoliations and facials, while if you prefer to be more active there is a fitness centre to work out in.

Activities at Beaverbrook

Tennis, badminton and croquet are among the sporting activities, while cycling, rambling and fishing are great ways to explore the estate. Wine tastings are also held regularly, and if you want to get hands-on, you can take part in a cocktail making lesson or a cookery class, led by the hotel’s talented chefs.
