Hotel Overview

Shangri-La Bosphorus is located on the Bosphorus bank in the Besiktas district, a 20 minute drive to Sultanahmet and 45 minutes to Attaturk International airport.

Rooms at Shangri-La Bosphorus

Most of the hotel’s 186 rooms have unbeatable views of the river, and all are spacious and subtly styled in pastel colours. Floor-to-ceiling windows afford generous views of the river – go for a deluxe suite for sweeping views from your private terrace. The Shangri-La’s sleek, marble bathrooms are truly opulent with their Bulgari toiletries and televisions built into the mirrors.

Food and facilities

Feast on delicious Cantonese delicacies at Shang Palace, with special duck ovens imported from China. IST TOO, on the other hand, offers Turkish and international cuisine and a hearty buffet breakfast – choose from a hundred types of Chinese tea and you’ll be served by a ‘Kung Fu Tea Master’. Shangri-La Bosphorus also has a relaxing spa with hammam and an indoor swimming pool.

Activities at Shangri-La Bosphorus

Wander around Besiktas and pop into one its lively cafes or restaurants. Hop on a ferry outside of the hotel and cross the languid border to investigate the Asian districts of Uskudar and Kadikoy. A short taxi ride will whisk you off to the great sights of Istanbul in the Sultanahmet; or venture into Nisantasi for a spot of designer shopping.
