Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Museum Hotel is in the village of Uchisar, with breathtaking views of Cappadocia’s lunar landscape.

Rooms at Museum Hotel

Each of the rooms and suites has something unique to offer. The original stone cave rooms have been luxuriously renovated and decorated with an extensive collection of antique tapestries, artwork and furniture. Many rooms also have lovely views of the surrounding rock formations and caves. A real treasure is the Sultan’s Cave Suite, spread out into two cave rooms, with its own private tunnel entrance.

Food & Drink

As the only hotel in Turkey to be part of the Relais & Châteaux group, the cuisine at the Museum Hotel is as unique as its antique collection. At Lil’a Restaurant, guests are served delicious and traditional Cappadocian dishes. With its own ecological garden, the hotel also takes responsible cooking seriously – you even can take a cookery class with the chef, and gather fruits and vegetables from the garden yourself. What’s more, the Indigo Sunset Bar concocts fabulous cocktails to relish as you drink in that stunning sunset.

Facilities

Delight in a massage with a view at the Massage Terrace, an utterly serene and unique experience. There is also a freeform, mosaic-tiled pool which is Roman in style and impossible to resist.

Activities at Museum Hotel

Remember to step out of the hotel to gaze at the region's extraordinary 'fairy chimneys'; try out the Cross Golf driving range for a totally unusual game; and experience the view from above in a hot air balloon.
