The 149 guest rooms and 24 suites are tastefully styled with subtle colour schemes and have wonderful sea views. The floor to ceiling windows open out onto balconies or terraces; the Grand Deluxe room boasts sweeping vistas of the Aegean. Splash out on a Presidential Suite, sprawled over 200 square metres of sheer luxury with whirlpools on an outdoor terrace, or opt for one of the 36 Kempinski Residences.

Food and facilities

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to dining at Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay. There are four restaurants offering Italian, Aegean, Asian or Turkish cuisine, as well as a chic bar and two lounges to wind down in. Children are well catered for too, with a kids-only zone at the Pirates of Barbarrossa at Olives Restaurant, providing fun games and activities along with delicious and healthy meals. The sundeck by the sea is where to laze in the day with a glass of pink rosé in hand (pink is the theme of the drinks menu), or you can grab a bite at the pool restaurant and bar.

Activities at Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay

Hop in a buggy to get down to the private beach, which is separated into two areas: one space is designated for families and the other is the ‘silent beach’, just for adults. As well as the impressive outdoor infinity pool, the hotel has a heated indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi which has sublime views of the sea. There’s a whopping spa with hammam, sauna and steam rooms, as well as a fitness centre. Fans of water-sports will love it here: there’s windsurfing, sailing, para-sailing and diving to get stuck into. For a romantic excursion, opt for a sunset cruise on a Vicem motor yacht and sip champagne as you drink in your stunning surroundings.
