Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Arctic Bath floats on the Lule River in the small town of Harads. The hotel is inspired by and resembles the timber floating era, and is a reminder of the forest’s importance in the development of Sweden, now the third largest exporter of forest products in the world.

Rooms at Arctic Bath

The six rooms on the river showcase the best of innovative timber construction, with a wooden deck overlooking the river perfect for a summer sojourn or Northern Light gazing in the winter.

The six suites on land have floor-to-ceiling windows to bring the outside inside in, and winding staircases are a focal point of these rooms, leading to a spacious mezzanine level. Pastel hues instantly provide a calming atmosphere perfect for a retreat, and with rooms designed for families or couples, anyone can enjoy the only floating hotel in Sweden.

Food & Drink

The hotel's restaurant is based in the main building, where you'll also find a comfortable lounge and a bar where you can warm up by the log burner after a day outdoors.

Choose from a delectable menu of dishes, made with fresh, local produce and a focus on nutrition – part of the hotel’s wellness ethos. Your food is created by two excellent chefs - one has worked in top hotels around the world, and one is a Sami, so you have the chance to taste unique dishes blending gourmet flavours with traditional Sami cuisine.

Facilities

As well as the central cold bath, Arctic Bath offers saunas, warm baths and treatments, including Kerstin Florian as well as ANDA – an organic collection of sustainable vegan skincare.

Activites at Arctic Bath

A range of nature and culture activities make the most of Arctic Bath's unique location, from husky sled rides and snowmobile safaris to day trips to the Storforsen Nature Reserve and village visits, complete with Swedish fika. Experience the Midnight Sun in summer and the Northern Lights in winter.
