Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Belmond La Residencia is in the village of Deia, tucked into the foothills of the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana on Mallorca's northwest coast and a stone’s throw away from the clear blue Mediterranean.

Rooms at Belmond La Residencia

The 67 rooms and suites are elegant and stylish, decorated with Mallorquin antiques, four-poster beds, marble bathrooms and wooden shuttered windows that open to reveal stunning views. Take them in from your balcony, and treat yourself to a suite to enjoy private terraces, pools and gardens.

Food & Drink

Tuck into a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning, and there are several Mediterranean restaurants to choose from later in the day. Sample the award-winning cuisine on the sun-kissed terrace at El Olivo, or try the tapas and cocktails at Café Miró - and you can also dine by the pool.

There are three indoor and outdoor pools and two tennis courts as well as a spa, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym, or try out the yoga, Tai Chi or aqua-aerobics lessons.

The hotel sits on the edge of the artists' village of Deia, and has its own art gallery, Sa Tafona, as well as beautiful sculpture gardens, which include artworks that children can play with - and at the children's club, they can enjoy pottery workshops as well as cooking classes and tennis lessons.

Activities at Belmond La Residencia

Young or old, if you're feeling inspired by the artistic vibe, take an art class and unleash your inner Picasso. Further afield, many attractions are within walking distance, or explore by Vespa. For more scenic views, enjoy a hike in the beautiful mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana. Meanwhile, a shuttle will take you to the nearby beach at Cala Deia, and in the summer, you can head out on the water on a complimentary two-hour scenic boat trip around the coastline and its secluded coves.
