Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Parador de Cadiz is by the waterfront, close to many of Cadiz’s attractions, and offers fantastic views over this ancient town and the Bay of Cadiz, while La Caleta Beach is just a few steps away.

Rooms at Parador de Cadiz

The rooms have a contemporary style, with a colour palette of grey and black and modern furniture. Large floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of the views over the Bay of Cadiz, and many rooms also have their own balconies.

Food & Drink

Dining is taken seriously here, with a commitment to quality beginning with the ingredients – expect to find seafood from the Gulf of Cadiz, Chiclana beef and wine from Sanlucar. The result is a delicious menu of local specialities, with sample dishes including shrimp pancakes, sea urchin and papas alinadas – a traditional potato salad. You’ll also find a detox programme specially designed to help eliminate toxins through a series of healthy breakfasts.

Facilities

The hotel’s serene outdoor pool is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer’s afternoon, while the state-of-the-art spa offers endless opportunities for relaxation. Facilities include a Turkish bath, hydrotherapy pools and a Finnish sauna, while a wide variety of treatments, such as massages, wraps and body scrubs, are guaranteed to help you relax.

Activities at Parador de Cadiz

In a city as ancient as Cadiz, there’s no shortage of historic sights to take in. Begin with a visit to the cathedral by the waterfront. Work started here in 1716, and the building’s golden dome is a landmark of the city’s skyline. The imposing castle of San Sebastian, meanwhile, sits on its own island at the end of La Caleta Beach, and was built on the site of an ancient Greek temple.

For an overview of Cadiz’s long and colourful history, head to the Museum of Cadiz, where you'll find an impressive collection of art and archaeological artefacts.
