The rooms and suites, spread over 10 floors, are grand, stylish and spacious, with a classic style in the furniture and décor. The plush beds come with feather pillows, the mini-bars can be personalised on request, and the sleek bathrooms come with fluffy bathrobes. Most rooms have a furnished balcony or terrace to make the most of the city and sea views.

Start the morning with a delicious breakfast buffet or a private breakfast on your terrace, followed by an a la carte lunch or dinner at the Admirals Landing restaurant, which offers superb Mediterranean and international cuisine, accompanied by an extensive wine list and panoramic harbour vistas.

Another option is the Tiki bar and restaurant, which is right at the water’s edge and has a menu of pasta dishes, salads and fresh fish. Indulge in afternoon tea in the lounge, and sip cocktails in the Harbour View Bar at sunset.

Have a swim in the indoor and outdoor pools or relax on the sundeck, and treat yourself to a massage in the spa, which also has a hydrotherapy bath, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. Active types can head to the fitness centre for a workout.
