Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Cesca Boutique Hotel occupies a converted farmhouse on the edge of the beautiful Xlendi Valley on Gozo, an attractive building of honey-coloured stone walls and arches, with designer interiors. It is surrounded by beautiful landscapes yet is not far from many attractions of the island.

Rooms at Cesca Boutique Hotel

The spacious rooms and suites combine historic character with modern style and come with plush beds, TVs and mini-bars, alongside features such as stone walls, original fireplaces and traditional Maltese tiles. The neutral colour scheme is offset by features such as patterned wallpaper and bright floral cushions. They are air-conditioned for comfort and soundproofed to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep. The bathrooms are sleek and some rooms come with a freestanding bathtub.

Large windows and balconies (some with a private Jacuzzi) look out over the gardens, the pool and the valley.

Food & Drink

The La Vallee restaurant offers exceptional cuisine that puts a twist on traditional Maltese classics. Tuck into a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning, including eggs, meats and cheeses, and in the evening enjoy a drink or two at the bar.

Facilities

Cool off from the Maltese sun in the pool or relax poolside, or while away a lazy afternoon on the terrace, overlooking the valley. There are plenty of nooks and crannies around the hotel where you can curl up on a comfortable armchair beneath a stone arch or a wooden beam.

Activities at Cesca Boutique Hotel

As well as snorkelling and diving in the Blue Hole nearby, other water sports on offer include windsurfing and canoeing, while back on land, explore the landscapes on foot or horseback.

There are many other attractions just a few kilometres away from the hotel too, such as the Citadel, the Ggantija Megalithic Temples, the Ta ‘Pinu basilica and the Gharb Folklore Museum. Wine lovers should visit the Tal-Massar Winery.
