Hotel L'Orologio Venice

Location: Venice & the Veneto | Italy

Price guide: £££££ £200-£350 per person per night

Hotel L’Orologio Venice has a stunning location on the Grand Canal, guaranteeing quintessential views of Venice. The interiors showcase Venetian style, such as stone, quartz, warm reds, bespoke furnishings, wooden-beamed ceilings and walls hung with rich tapestries. Like its sister hotel in Florence, it is inspired by the world of watches, a theme which can be seen in the giant watch hands in the bar, unique artworks in the rooms and displays of unique pieces throughout the hotel.

Perfect forThose after a central location, a stylishly designed hotel and perfect Venetian views. It’s great for both couples and families (rooms can be interconnected).

Hotel Overview

Sense of place

This elegant hotel sits on the Grand Canal in attractive San Polo, a quieter section of the canal yet just a short walk from Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge – offering the best of both worlds.

Rooms at Hotel L'Orologio Venice

The rooms and suites have beautiful canal views and plenty of character - they combine historic features with contemporary charm, with pops of colour including red velvet walls and illuminated artworks created from real watch mechanisms. The red and green colour schemes are inspired by the Venetian flag and the green of the lagoon, and the unique watch theme is inspired by the owner's love of watches - with a collection numbering over 3,000. The bespoke bathrooms feature precious marbles and black granite flooring.

Food & Drink

Wake up to a delicious breakfast buffet, accompanied by wine (that's the way to start the day!), and after taking in the sights of Venice, enjoy exquisite Venetian dishes and cocktails in the elegant bar. There are also numerous bars and restaurants to choose from nearby.

Facilities

There are plenty of ways to relax in style here, from the funky bar, with its vintage armchairs, stone bar and exposed brick walls, to the plush lounge, which has a fireplace to cosy up by in colder weather.

Activities at Hotel L'Orologio Venice

As well as having the delights of San Polo on the doorstep, including daily markets, and having many of Venice’s landmarks within walking distance, there’s a vaporetto stop right near the hotel, making it easy to explore. And a sunset gondola ride is mandatory!
