Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Belmond Hotel Cipriani is set within beautiful formal gardens on the island of Giudecca, looking out towards Venice's famous Doge’s Palace.

Rooms at Belmond Hotel Cipriani

The interiors are timelessly elegant and individually decorated in opulent Venetian style, with plush beds, antique furnishings, Murano chandeliers and works of art. They are beautifully romantic, with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies or terraces looking out over the lagoon, the lush gardens, the vineyards and Venice's distinctive cityscapes, including Piazza San Marco.

In the main hotel there are luxurious rooms and superbly decorated suites with balconies or terraces, and there are also some rooms and suites and rooms in the adjacent 15th-century romantic Palazzo Vendramin and Palazzetto, with views over the gardens and Piazza San Marco.

Food & Drink

Wake up to breakfast on your terrace, and sip cocktails at the poolside bar before dinner. In the evening, dine on exquisite creations beneath Murano glass chandeliers and the golden ceiling which gives the Michelin-starred Oro restaurant its name, or by candlelight on its beautiful waterside terrace. You can also enjoy Venetian and Italian specialities at the famous Cip’s Club, which has a spacious decked terrace over the water offering unrivalled views over Venice.

Facilities

You mustn't miss the chance to swim in the Olympic-size swimming pool, which is filled with filtered seawater and is one of the best pools in Venice and beyond. There is also a tennis court by the lagoon and a state-of-the-art fitness centre with views over the gardens. Alternatively, simply relax in the inviting spa, which has a wide range of treatments guaranteed to rejuvenate.

Activities at Belmond Hotel Cipriani

Guests can sail out on the Cipriani's own beautiful boat to Piazza San Marco, a complimentary service which runs at regular intervals throughout the day, or explore the Grand Canal and some of Venice's many islands, including Murano (where the world-famous glass is made), Burano and Torcello. The Punta della Dogana museum on the tip of the Dorsoduro is a red-hot ticket for anyone with a passion for art and culture.
