Hotel Overview

Where

An opulent 500 year-old property beside Venice’s iconic Grand Canal, a short and scenic walk from Venice’s famous historical attractions.

Rooms at Aman Canal Grande Venice

There are 24 bedrooms, all flawlessly styled with luxurious furnishings, many with river and garden views. Beautiful, original frescoes by the distinguished painter Tiepolo adorn the walls of some rooms – these come highly recommended by Exsus.

Food and facilities

This boutique hotel is unique in Venice as it boasts expansive private gardens, one which overlooks the canal – a rare find in this city. Dine on Italian cuisine in the hotel restaurant, with floor to ceiling windows and twinkling Murano chandeliers, lending an opulent feel. At sunset, head upstairs to the cosy roof terrace for drinks with city views. Wind down at the hotel spa, the library or in one of the various lounges and salons - there are many peppered throughout the hotel, and all are decidedly luxurious.

Activities at Aman Canal Grande Venice

The San Polo district is packed with must-see sights, including various churches and palaces. The Rialto Bridge and Campo San Polo are nearby and well worth a visit. Venice begs to be explored by gondola; you can hop into one right in front of the hotel. If your holiday coincides with the Venice Biennale, you’re in for a treat. Admire contemporary art at this spectacular biannual exhibition and experience the oldest international film festival in the world, the Venice Film Festival. For a break from sightseeing, try a hot chocolate at nearby Florian’s, Venice’s oldest café, or unwind in style with a martini at local favourite Harry’s Bar.
