Therasia Resort Sea & Spa sits on the island of Vulcano, the most southerly in the Aeolian group, and has beautiful sea views.

Rooms at Therasia Resort Sea & Spa

The resort has an eco-friendly ethos, and only local materials have been used in the creation of the hotel, including molten rock from Mount Etna, Sicilian terracotta and cedar and olive wood. The Mediterranean-style rooms are classic in style and feature lava stone, marble and mosaic, and some have romantic four-poster beds. The suites offer plenty of space, including separate sitting rooms. Private balconies and terraces offer panoramic sea views, including spectacular sunsets.

Food & Drink

Enjoy gourmet award-winning cuisine at Michelin-starred restaurant Il Cappero, including fresh fish dishes and irresistible Sicilian desserts. Named after the humble but delicious caper, which is prevalent on all the Aeolian islands, Il Cappero serves up delicious traditional Sicilian dishes alongside an exclusive and romantic ambience.

The L'Archipelago restaurant has a large terrace overlooking the sea and serves a rich buffet breakfast when you wake up and a romantic, candlelit dinner at the end of the day: feast on a range of Sicilian and Mediterranean dishes, accompanied by local wines.

Unwind in the spa with a hot stone massage or a volcanic black sand scrub, have a swim in one of the two saltwater infinity pools, nestled amongst the volcanic rocks, and relax and soak up the Aeolian sun on the nearby black sand beach.
