Hotel Overview

Sense of place

As you’d expect, the atmosphere is quintessentially Fendi, which means exclusivity, luxury, and above all, style. Contemporary art adorns the walls and the colour palette is dark and muted, with leather furniture, dark wood and stone everywhere you look. The staff, too, are stylishly appointed as well as endlessly attentive.

Rooms at Fendi Private Suites

Following the same stylised aesthetic as the rest of the hotel, the seven apartments are sleek and dark, with fur artworks above the beds paying tribute to Fendi’s flagship product line. Furniture comes courtesy of Fendi Casa, the brand’s interiors wing, and additional stylish touches come in the form of Pia Wustenburg vases and Hans J Wegner chairs. The opulence continues in the beautiful bathrooms, which are hewn from Italian marble.

Food & drink

The building’s top two floors are home to Zuma, where exquisite contemporary Japanese cuisine is served at a sushi bar and traditional robata grill. The fourth floor is devoted to izakaya-style dining, a traditional informal Japanese style where diners enjoy shared dishes. The fifth floor is a bar and lounge, which also features a terrace with panoramic views of Rome, where world-class cocktails are served.

Facilities

There is no gym, pool or spa at Fendi Private Suites, but the concierge service prides itself on being able to organise any service you could desire, from a personal trainer to a make-up artist. Palazzo Privé, an apartment on the second floor, is available to hire for meetings, dinners and events. In the hotel’s communal living area, there is an extensive collection of art books for your perusal.

Activities at Fendi Private Suites

Private tours of the Fendi boutique, situated below the suites, are available as is priority access toi the Zuma restaurant. The hotel’s central location makes it perfect for exploring the historical delights of Rome, with the Spanish Steps five minutes’ walk away and the Pantheon Trevi Fountain ten. In your room you’ll find an iPad loaded with sixteen suggested Rome itineraries.
