Hotel Overview

Sense of place

On the shores of the beautiful Lake Garda, Lefay Resort & Spa is a luxurious small hotel built to be in tune with its natural surroundings. Eco-friendly and energy-saving building techniques were used in the creation of the beautiful stone-and-wood buildings, which have an organic but contemporary look, and the resort is surrounded by 11 hectares of national park.

Rooms at Lefay Resort & Spa

Rooms all have a lake view, and are stylish and contemporary in design while reflecting their natural surroundings: they are hewn from Italian marble, olive wood and walnut. Book a stay in the Royal Pool Hotel & Spa Suite and you’ll get your own private garden, heated infinity pool, and a private spa area.

Food and drink

Lefay’s commitment to healthy living is nowhere more evident than in its gourmet cuisine, which is based on the health giving aspects of the Mediterranean diet and seasonal ingredients. Extensive use is made of olive oil, which the resort produces itself from its own olive groves. At Trattoria La Vigna, traditional Italian cuisine is served up in a more informal, homely atmosphere. There are also three bars: the Lounge Bar, on a wide terrace overlooking the lake, which also features a ‘fireplace room’ full of books and board games; the Pool Bar; and the Cigar Lounge, where a range of the world’s best cigars and spirits can be enjoyed.

Facilities

Lefay’s incredible spa facilities, along with its lakeside location, are its main attraction. There are numerous indoor and outdoor heated saltwater pools; six saunas, which include a Finnish ‘Water & Fire’ sauna and one made completely from olive wood; and two private spas, where couples can enjoy treatments in seclusion. There are also extensive gym facilities with beautiful views over Lake Garda.

Activities at Lefay Resort & Spa

The nearby town of Gargnano is the main centre for sailing trips on Lake Garda, and is a lovely town well worth a visit in itself. Attractions include the Vittoriale Degle Italiani, one of the most-visited museums in Italy, which is the former home of Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio.
