Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

An hour’s drive from Milan, the Grand Hotel Tremezzo has a perfect position overlooking Bellagio, where the two branches of Lake Como meet beneath the Grigne mountains.

Rooms at Grand Hotel Tremezzo

Sumptuous and bold, the rooms and suites are a showcase of opulent Art Nouveau style, with period furnishings and lavish gold and marble touches, alongside panoramic lake views from floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies.

The honeymoon suite comes with a red Verona marble bathroom with a whirlpool bath and a four-poster bed overlooking the lake, as well as a private terrace on the top floor. The rooftop suites have private Jacuzzis and premium vistas over the lake and beyond, and there's a family suite on the first floor with its own private garden - perfect for children. Enjoy the services of your very own private butler.

Food & Drink

The passion of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo's world-renowned chefs is very much evident in all of the hotel’s restaurants, from the elegant and romantic La Terrazza, which sits above the lake, to L'Escale, a fondue and wine bar with a cellar of over 350 regional vintages, and T Beach, which sits right by the floating pool and the lake and has a champagne bar. Enjoy exquisite Italian cuisine as you savour the lake views, or have a wood-fired pizza by the pool in the gardens at T Pizza.

For a special occasion, dine in a secluded corner of the gardens by candlelight or indoors by the fireplace. As the sunset turns the lake and mountains pink, head to the T Bar's terrace for a T Cocktail, serenaded by the pianist.

Facilities

As well as the floodlit tennis court, you’ll be bowled over by the pools, especially the one which 'floats' on a jetty in the lake, by the private beach (the only private beach on Lake Como). There's also a pool in the pretty gardens, a state-of-the-art gym and a wellness spa with an infinity pool, a marble hammam suite, personalised treatments and an inviting relaxation lounge with huge picture windows overlooking the lake.

Activities at Grand Hotel Tremezzo

There are endless ways to experience Lake Como, such as making a splash with all types of water sports, exploring the lake in style onboard the hotel’s vintage water limousines, Ruy and Batt, and visiting the beautiful lakeshore villas.

However, while it is undeniably spectacular, it's not just the lake that’s worthy of your attention: the hotel is also surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside, where you can go on scenic jogging, hiking and cycling trails. Immerse yourself in the many charms of the town of Como, tour local vineyards and enjoy tastings, go designer shopping in Milan, and even hop across the Swiss border to Lugano - home to another beautiful lake.
