Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Monastero Santa Rosa sits by the charming fishing village of Conca dei Marini, 10 minutes from Amalfi town. Its stunning coastal views, Italian romance and glamour, and friendly five-star service define this wonderfully unique hotel. It is hard to fault, particularly in terms of service: the staff will go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable, whether that be supplying you with a pashmina if the evening gets a little chilly or having the expert sommelier select the best wines to accompany your food.

Rooms at Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel & Spa

This chic hotel has been lovingly restored, retaining its vaulted ceilings and stone walls. The rooms and suites each have their own unique charm, and have largely been preserved since they were the chambers of the nuns who inhabited the monastery in the 17th century. They feature furniture hand-picked by the owner, Italian antiques and plush fabrics, with an injection of rich, vibrant hues, and they all have spectacular views of the sea and down the famous Amalfi Coast.

Food & Drink

Foodies will be in paradise with the superbly talented chef Christoph Bob building a new menu every night - delicious to the extent that you may find yourself loosening your waistbands! Drink in the view with a glass of prosecco and an exquisite and expertly prepared Italian meal on the gorgeous terrace.

Lush, landscaped gardens spill out over four expansive levels, meaning intimate corners abound, and below, a sparkling infinity pool looks out over the dreamlike seascape - a perfect spot to laze away the hours. Retreat to the blissful spa, oozing with indulgence and tranquillity. Float from the thermal room to the hydro-pool, and from the rock sauna to the tepidarium, and admire the rustic stone arches in between. Wander through the gardens and watch the sunset on the terrace in the evening.

Activities at Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel & Spa

Pretty Conca dei Marini is worth exploring: wander through the little fishing harbour, where you'll see locals at work pulling in the haul of the day.
