Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Housed in a century-old Art Nouvaeu villa on the site of a former Roman palace, Excelsior Parco is as glamorous as the island of Capri itself. With a brilliant location between the port and the Piazzetta, and with stunning views over the Gulf of Naples, this luxury boutique hotel is perfect for experiencing the vintage cool of Capri and its capital, Marina Grande.

Rooms at Excelsior Parco

The 11 rooms and suites at Excelsior Parco are supremely comfortable and are breezy and colourful in design, with bright floral curtains and beautiful tiled floors. Views overlook either the sea or the hotel’s gardens, with many rooms boasting private terraces from which to take in the view.

Food and facilities

Dining is an informal affair, with a range of simple but delicious local specialities offered all day, either in the hotel’s Art Nouveau restaurant, in the garden, on the terrace or in the privacy of your room. The hotel places an emphasis on the use of organic produce and uses these kinds of ingredients wherever possible. The terrace is also a beautiful place to unwind with a cocktail or glass of champagne, and is home to a Jacuzzi and hot tub, a live piano bar, and a massage area.

Activities at Excelsior Parco

The best way to take in Capri’s famously photogenic coastline is from the sea, and private boat tours can be organised with a professional sailor who will take you to famous sights such as the Grotta Verde and the Blue Grotto, which glows with a stunning blue light. There are also countless secluded bays and coves to be explored and swum in. You can get to know the traditional cuisine of Capri with a gourmet tour of the island’s farms and wineries, while cooking classes at the hotel or at a nearby restaurant can also be arranged. Excelsior Parco guests also enjoy the privilege of specially reserved spaces on the beautiful Lido Lo Smeraldo beach.
