Fly to Olbia, where you’ll pick up your car and drive to Oliena (approximately 1.5 hours away), where your hotel for 3 nights will be the luxurious Su Gologone. The beautiful rooms and suites come with Sardinian touches such as artisan furnishings and original artworks, as well as plenty of room for the whole family. Children won’t get bored here – there’s a playground and a wide variety of activities for them to choose from, including horse riding, mini golf, kayaking, canoeing, Land Rover and quad bike tours and cycling trips. There’s also a cinema and a pool – and they can enjoy delicious buffets by the pool before or after their swim.

Drive to Costa Smeralda (a journey of approximately 1.5 hours) and check in to the beautiful, secluded Hotel Romazzino for a relaxing week on this idyllic stretch of coastline. The stylish and colourful rooms and suites have balconies and terraces, and we recommend the villas, as they have lots of space and their own private pool. Enjoy dazzlingly white beaches and aquamarine waters, and children will love the Toy Club, which will keep them entertained from the moment they arrive, with a programme of activities such as handicrafts, water sports, puppet shows and movies. There’s also a playground, a children-only restaurant adjacent to the main restaurant, and separate areas on the beach and the swimming pool reserved exclusively for children. From here, you will drive back to Olbia (a journey of approximately half an hour) to catch your flight home.
