Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Hotel Savoy faces Florence’s Piazza della Repubblica, just a stone’s throw from the Duomo, the River Arno and Ponte Vecchio.

Rooms at Hotel Savoy

The stunning interiors of the hotel are the result of a collaboration between Olga Polizzi of the Rocco Forte family and Laudomia Pucci, daughter of the legendary designer Emilio Pucci. Combining neutral colour palettes with splashes of bright colour, and featuring locally-made furnishings and rich Italian fabrics, the interior designs match the spirit of Florence.

The rooms exude Italian elegance, and they are spacious in design, with even the standard rooms leaving a generous amount of room for armchairs or a small sofa. They have a chic decor of duck egg blues and soft greys and greens, and the oak floors are contrasted with floral wallpapers. The comfortable queen-sized beds are adorned with Tuscan-inspired fabrics, with plush white pillows and fluffy duvets. The bathrooms are stocked with luxurious toiletries and bathrobes.

The Duomo Presidential Suite is the pinnacle of luxury, occupying its own private wing. Sink into one of the two king-sized beds for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Food & drink

Showcasing Italian cuisine at its finest, the Irene restaurant brings the creative flair of famous chef Fulvio Pierangelini to Florence. The glamorous dining room serves up traditional Tuscan authenticity with an international twist. The restaurant opens out onto the piazza during the summer season, so guests can eat al fresco and make the most of the warm sunshine. Sip classic cocktails in the elegant bar.

Facilities

In between sightseeing, culture hits and eating and drinking, there are plenty of lovely spots in the hotel to relax and unwind.

Activities at Hotel Savoy

The concierge team will be delighted to help you make the most of your stay in Florence and recommend the must-do attractions, from the famous landmarks through to the Italian fashion houses, museums and galleries, including the Uffizi, which is well worth a visit.
