Hotel Savoy faces Florence’s Piazza della Repubblica, just a stone’s throw from the Duomo, the River Arno and Ponte Vecchio.

Rooms at Hotel Savoy

The rooms exude Italian elegance, they are spacious in design, with even the standard double room leaving a generous amount of room for armchairs or a small sofa. Using a neutral colour palette the rooms have chic decors of duck egg blues and soft greys and greens. The oak floors are contrasted with elegant floral wallpapers.

The comfortable queen-sized beds are decorated with Tuscan inspired fabrics, with plush white pillows and fluffy duvets. All of the en-suite bathrooms are stocked with luxurious toiletries and bathrobes. The Duomo Presidential Suite is the pinnacle of luxury at the Savoy, occupying its own private wing, sink into one of the two king sized beds for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Food & drink

Italian cuisine at its finest, restaurant and bar Irene brings the creative flair of famous chef Fulvio Pierangelini. The glamorous dining room serves up traditional Tuscan authenticity with an international twist. The restaurant opens out onto the piazza during the summer season, so guests can eat al fresco and make the most of the warm sunshine.


A collaboration between Olga Polizzi, Director of Design for Rocco Forte Hotels and Laudemia Pucci, daughter of the legendary designer Emilio Pucci has formed the interior and the decors of this chic hotel. Combining neutral palettes with splashes of bright colour, the interior designs match the elegance and vibrancy, of what the city of Florence represents. Locally manufactured furnishings and rich Italian fabrics are featured throughout the hotel; from the Lobby to the communal lounge to the gym, all aspects of this hotel have been carefully crafted to create elegant luxury.
