Fresh off your flight we’ll take you straight to the Blue Lagoon, where you can soak in its naturally warm geothermal waters. Let the stress melt away, absorbing active ingredients of natural mineral salts, white silica and blue green algae, and breathe in the pure Icelandic air – an incredible start to your luxury Iceland holiday. From here you’ll be transferred to Hotel Grimsborgir near to the Golden Circle, which will be your home for the next two nights. This is one of the best boltholes in the region, offering a cosy retreat on top of a superb location.

From here, you'll explore the geothermal Geysir area, thundering Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir National Park, which constitute Iceland's iconic Golden Circle, on a private tour, which will also take you to witness the breathtaking Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls along the south coast. By night, keep your eyes peeled for signs of solar activity in the form of Mother Nature's impressive aurora borealis.

You will be transferred to the city of Reykjavik, where you can explore its historic sites on foot. Check out the National Cathedral, City Hall and Hallgrimskirkja church, or dip into one of the many cafes or go shopping in the Laugavegur district, just a five-minute walk away from the boutique Sandhotel in the heart of the city.

After dark, you'll head out on a private Northern Lights hunt in pursuit of nature's mesmerising light show. Leave the glare of the city behind and venture into wild Icelandic terrain with your passionate guide - if you're a keen photographer we can even organise for an expert photography guide to join you. With any luck, you will be greeted by streaks of colour dancing across the sky and leave with a camera full of incredible images. After a two-night stay, your reinvigorating Iceland holiday has come to an end, and we’ll fly you back home.
