Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Parilio sits on the north-eastern coast of Paros, between the gorgeous Kolympithres Beach and the pretty, whitewashed fishing village of Naoussa, looking out over the Aegean Sea. On Paros, you’ll find unspoiled nature and blissful seclusion.

Rooms at Parilio

The suites showcase the architectural traditions of Paros, with features such as carved stone arches, terracotta floors, local marble, warm woods, and a fresh, neutral colour palette, creating an inviting sanctuary that is offset by curated modern and vintage furniture, striking contemporary design pieces, handmade rugs, objets d’art and ceramics from Greece and across Europe and Africa. They have spacious bathrooms with rainfall showers hewn from stone, marble basins and brass fittings.

The mini-bars feature both Greek and international snacks and drinks, while the turndown service is uniquely Greek: guests can indulge in delicacies such as baklava, cheese from Naxos and souma – a traditional Paros drink.

Take in the lovely views over the courtyard, the pool or the surrounding landscapes – best enjoyed from the private terraces, complete with sitting areas and sunbeds. Some suites also have a private Jacuzzi or pool.

Food & drink

Sample the island’s gastronomic treats in style on the terrace of the Mr E restaurant, overlooking the wild beauty of the surrounding landscapes. The gourmet Greek and Mediterranean menu makes the most of the island’s natural bounty, starting with an a la carte breakfast, including yoghurt, porridge, salads, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, fresh fruit and pancakes.

Later in the day, enjoy tasty snacks, traditional Greek drinks, local wines and creative cocktails at the poolside Circe Bar, accompanied by live sunset jazz on some evenings.

Facilities

A large cross-shaped pool, nestled in the rocks, dominates the hotel’s beautiful grounds, offering the perfect spot to soak up the setting, surrounded by amber-hued fields and stately araucaria trees.

For further relaxation, head to the spa, whose treatments utilise organic products and essential oils to soothe the mind, body and spirit. If you prefer a workout, there's a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

Activities at Parilio

Kolympithres Beach is just a short walk or drive away, with its unique granite rock formations and a shallow coastline that makes it perfect for swimming. Guests can also take the complimentary shuttle to Naoussa, just a 10-minute drive from the hotel. This bustling fishing village has numerous bars, tavernas and boutiques, and is the lifestyle and nightlife hub of the island.

Visit the capital, Parikia, and discover its cafés, restaurants and shops. The main square overlooks the port, while ancient ruins tell of the island’s history. Lefkes, the island’s first capital, is a scenic 15-minute drive away, where you can see marble-paved streets, historic houses, rustic tavernas and the island’s white windmills, as well as ceramics workshops – a glimpse into a bygone era.
