Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Perched on a hill above the old town of Mykonos, Myconian Kyma is at once secluded and close to the action – and sitting on the island’s west coast, it’s perfect for taking in those famous Mykonos sunsets.

Rooms at Myconian Kyma

In keeping with the classic Aegean style, guestrooms and suites at Myconian Kyma have a largely white colour scheme with splashes of deep blue, echoing the sky (and in some cases the ocean or private pool) outside your window.

Textured feature walls bring to mind the sand of the island’s golden beaches, while the use of rich wood lends an organic feel to proceedings. Bathrooms have a modern look, with walk-in showers and stylish curved mirrors and sinks.

Food & Drink

The NOA Oyster Bar & Grill is a modern Mediterranean restaurant, where chef Panagiotis Tsoukatos serves up a delicious line in fresh seafood and prime cuts of meat. For a digestif, head to George’s Bar, a stylish poolside hangout famed for its cocktails – it’s also a great place to unwind with a coffee throughout the day. Each morning, start the day off right with a hearty breakfast of free-range eggs, home-baked bread and pastries and wild Greek honey, all enjoyed in the breakfast area overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Facilities

The word kyma means ‘wave’, and the healing powers of seawater are harnessed to full effect at the Satori Thalasso Spa, where there are no fewer than five pools to choose from as well as a range of massage, facial and body wrap treatments. The modern gym means there’s no reason to miss out on your regular workout, while the outdoor infinity pool deck is an inviting place to relax, with a cocktail in-hand from the adjacent George’s Bar.

Activities at Myconian Kyma

The picturesque streets of Mykonos Town lie a short drive, or scenic 20-minute walk, downhill from the hotel. Famed for its buzzing nightlife, Mykonos is also home to beautiful beaches – some of the finest include Platys Gialos, Ornos and Psarou – where swimming, sunbathing and water sports are all popular activities. There’s also fascinating ancient culture to explore, from the bone-white, sun-bleached church of Panagia Paraportiani to the ancient ruins of Delos, a short ferry ride away, which was the birthplace of Apollo in Greek mythology.
