Hotel Overview

Sense of place

The Myconian Ambassador is set on the popular beach of Platis Gialos on the island of Mykonos.

Rooms at Myconian Ambassador

Light, airy and minimalist is how the rooms at Myconian Ambassador can be described; the luxurious white-on-white rooms, with marble floors, floating shelves and crisp linens, brought to life by a pop of blue accent cushions. The Flos designer light hovers over the desk, creating the perfect mood lighting.

There are secluded suites just for two, with private Jacuzzis and sun-kissed terraces, that are perfect for couples and honeymooners, while the open-plan Azure suite will accommodate your family, with a private terrace and Jacuzzi overlooking the Ambassador pool below. Spend some quality time in the seating area which has a sofa bed which comes in addition to a king-sized bed or twin beds in the bedroom.

If you’re coming with a crowd, the Myconian villa features eight bedrooms, with sweeping views of the immaculate landscape gardens that spill out onto the bay and the hills. The rooms occupy two levels and can be connected or separated in a series of two, hour, six or eight bedrooms. With a large living area, patio, infinity pool and open-air Jacuzzi, it can sleep up to 22 people.

Food & Drink

Food at the Myconian Ambassador is an art form. Crafted by artisan chefs, the dishes are a combinations of classic and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. Tuck into gourmet food at the Efisia restaurant, prepared with seasonal farm-to-table ingredients and fresh fish, meat reared by the ex-CEO of the company himself and octopus caught by a friend of the hotel’s owners. Enjoy a feast in the renowned restaurant or dine at the poolside bar, and in the morning, you can start the day with breakfast on the terrace.

Facilities

You'll want to linger in or by the pool, which offers seamless views over the Aegean. Undergo a thorough cleansing and relaxation ritual at the Thalasso Spa, where the power of the sea is harnessed to leave you feeling brand new. You’ll find four pools there, each with a unique purpose, maintained at different temperatures and salinity, with essential oils and hydro-massage, that the experts will guide you through. Indulge in a selection of Elemis treatments, with anti-ageing ingredients, St. Barth, known for its floral blends, and Kerstin Florian, which uses thermal mineral water, herbal extracts and algae for supple and glowing skin.

Activities at Myconian Ambassador

Staying by Platis Gialos beach on the south coast of Mykonos, you’ll not only be a stone’s throw away from the best beaches but within walking distance from Chora (or Mykonos Town as it’s also known as). Explore this fascinating town, with its quaint boutiques and tavernas along cobbled streets and great nightlife. Catch a ferry to the remote Delos Island, where you can explore ruins or go on a tour of the hidden coves and windmills of Mykonos.
