Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Kensho Ornos overlooks the spectacular Ornos Bay, and is just 2km from the town centre of Mykonos.

Rooms at Kensho Ornos

The rooms and suites are sleek and elegant, and most come with private Jacuzzis or plunge pools. Each room has its own unique design, inspired by both traditional Cycladic architecture and contemporary style, as well as natural forms, with fresh neutral palettes of whites and creams, whitewashed stone walls and wooden-beamed ceilings, alongside plush beds and handcrafted furnishings from local designers. They also come with LCD TVs, iPads with unlimited music lists, mini-bars and Nespresso coffee machines.

Choose the appropriately-named Vista Suite to enjoy panoramic views over Ornos Bay.

Food & Drink

Wake up to a delicious breakfast, including fresh fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheeses and traditional Greek pies. The award-winning restaurant has an inviting terrace overlooking the bay and serves up delicious Greek and Mediterranean specialities, including a variety of fresh seafood, and the dishes are as beautiful to look at as they are to eat - this is gastronomic heaven (try the 10-course gastronomy menu).

As the sun sets, head to the bar and lounge for a tailor-made poolside cocktail, accompanied by gourmet snacks and finger food.

Facilities

The spa is a unique and heavenly hideaway - it has a Jacuzzi, a hammam and a tropical rain bed set in spectacular man-made caves, and you can enjoy a range of pampering massages and beauty treatments - try the refreshing body mask of clay and cucumber, or go for the A-lister gold body wrap, which uses the nectar of rare yellow seaweed to leave you (literally) with a golden glow.

Start the day in style with a scenic yoga session overlooking the sea, and there is also a gym if you fancy an invigorating workout, and a lovely pool to cool off in.

Activities at Kensho Ornos

Visit the beautiful beaches of Ornos Bay and Psarou, go to Korfos if you fancy a spot of surfing or kite-surfing, and do some island hopping - many more beautiful beaches are just a short and scenic boat trip away.

Have lunch in a taverna in Ornos, and walk around its photogenic port. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service into Mykonos Town (until midnight), which has numerous bars, restaurants and boutique shops as well as buzzing nightlife. You shouldn't miss the opportunity to explore the cobbled streets and famous windmills of Mykonos, and we also recommend visiting the ancient ruins on the nearby island of Delos, including the marble Terrace of the Lions and the fascinating museum.

The hotel’s expert concierges are happy to share their top tips on what to see and do.
