Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Nestled in the mountains above the Delphi Valley, Domotel Anemolia offers stunning views of the valley and the Parnassos Mountains and is an ideal base from which to explore the region’s historic sites such as Delphi, the town of Arachova, the fishing town of Galaxidi and the Byzantine monastery of Hosios Loukas.

Rooms at Domotel Anemolia

The rooms and suites at Domotel Anemolia are comfortable and traditional in style, with dark wood furnishings and private verandas or balconies with beautiful vistas over the mountains and the Delphi Valley below. Chalet Style Suites feature fireplaces to add to the cosy alpine atmosphere, while Executive Suites are more modern in design.

Food & drink

Domotel Anemolia’s restaurant has a warm, country-style atmosphere, all dark wood and stone with a log fireplace, and serves traditional local food throughout the day. At breakfast, you have a choice of hot and cold dishes, all whipped up using fresh, natural produce from the mountains.

Arachova is famous for its strong, deep-hued red wine, and formaela: a local sweet-smelling cheese. Our pick of restaurants in the town is the acclaimed Ffterolakka, where you can sample these among other local delicacies.

Facilities

The hotel features a heated pool with beautiful views over the Delphi Valley, gym facilities and a sauna.

Activities at Domotel Anemolia

The archaeological site of Delphi, famous as the seat of the oracle and considered the navel of the world by ancient Greeks, is around ten minutes’ drive from the hotel. The site is one of the most significant in Greek archaeology and includes a fascinating museum.

The historic town of Arachova is just a leisurely stroll away from the hotel, or during the winter months, there is a free shuttle service at weekends. Known as the ‘winter Mykonos’ for its status as a fashionable ski resort, the town also has plenty to offer year-round, and is famous for its Byzantine churches, as well as its food and drink.

In summer, this area is perfect for scenic hiking and mountain biking.
