Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Dellas Boutique Hotel’s unique location means the atmosphere is inevitably dominated by the proximity of the Meteora rocks and monasteries, which many of the rooms overlook. Rooms are comfortable and traditional in style, and the staff, led by the friendly family who own the hotel, will go out of their way to ensure you get the most out of your stay.

Rooms at Dellas Boutique Hotel

Rooms and suites are comfortable and traditional in design, with dark wood furniture, tiled floors and unique artworks adorning the walls. Many feature unrivalled views of the Meteora rock formations, and those that don’t still enjoy a beautiful vantage point over the surrounding forests and mountains.

Food and drink

Breakfast is served every day in the dining room, with many of the cakes, jams and pastries on offer either homemade or locally sourced. The staff are very amenable to those who may be on a tight schedule or who want to visit Meteora at specific times of day, and can order in food for guests outside of breakfast time.

The hotel features a lounge area with a television where guests are welcome to relax, as well as a cosy bar area with a fireplace. The staff will happily help arrange excursions to Meteora and the surrounding area, including organising transport if necessary.

Activities at Dellas Boutique Hotel

Dellas Boutique’s fantastic location means that right on your doorstep are the Meteora rock formations, vast, strange boulders to the top of which cling Eastern Orthodox Christian monasteries. Building the monasteries, which date from the 14th to 16th centuries, took years of incredible craftsmanship and dedication from the monks, who lugged construction materials up precarious rope ladders from the rock fissures and caves where they lived. Thankfully, rock-hewn staircases mean the monasteries are now more easily accessible to tourists.
