Tucked away in the medieval village of Villeneuve-les-Avignon, across the river from Avignon.

Helmed by Chef Fabien Fage, the hotel’s delicious Michelin-starred restaurant showcases local specialities, such as duck foie gras from the Landes and Gariguette strawberries from Nimes, which you can savour outside among the colourful trees and flowers or in the dining room, draped in Italian Dedar curtains and ornamented by a large period fireplace.

Swim in the pool, surrounded by shady trees, and relax poolside with a cocktail. If you can drag yourself away, also on offer are hiking, golf, horse-riding, biking, fishing and kayaking in the nearby river, to name a few.
