Hotel Overview

Where

Surrounded by trees planted by Champagne legend Madame Pommery, on the outskirts of Reims.

Rooms at Chateau Les Crayeres

With stylish French décor radiating from every room, the 19th-centry chateau houses just 20 rooms, 17 of which are in the chateau itself and three which are situated in a private cottage within the hotel’s grounds. Generously sized and in prime locations, each room is distinctly elegant with draped curtains, intricate designs and plush beds.

Food and facilities

Helmed by MOF (Best Craftsman of France) chef Philippe Mille, Le Parc restaurant is set overlooking the pretty grounds and offers a gorgeous terrace, where you can look over the 29-page Champagne list before dinner. When you are ready for your gastronomic treat, head inside for the modern yet generous menu that follows the seasons with delicious courses of black truffle lobster, codfish caviar, milk-fed lamb with ‘delicatesse’ potatoes and hot lemon soufflé with tarragon ice cream. For something less formal, try the brasserie Le Jardin, which combines steel, brick and an open view kitchen to form an atmospheric retreat.

Activities at Chateau Les Crayeres

If the idea of full day tours of the vineyards and grand house producers of the famous sparkling wine makes your toes tingle in joy, then you can find yourself up to your neck in Champagne-themed activities. From wine tastings and historical tours to simply sitting in the sun with a glass in hand, the chateau is perfectly poised for exploring the area, with Veuve-Clicquot and Taittinger right next door.
