Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Hotel Korcula de la Ville is in the heart of Korcula’s old town, overlooking the harbour. Korcula’s oldest hotel, it was originally opened in 1912, and retains a sense of history, with its traditional, elegant decor and acclaimed waterfront restaurant, which remains one of the trendiest spots in town for locals to relax with a coffee.

Rooms at Hotel Korcula de la Ville

The rooms and suites are luxurious while retaining a sense of the hotel’s history, with traditional white-painted furnishings and deep blue walls mirroring the views of the ocean beyond. Some rooms have stone balconies over the sea, while the suites are split over two levels.

Food & drink

The restaurant prides itself on the esteemed guests who have dined there over the years. The food is classic Croatian fare, with Dalmatian prosciutto, seafood buzara stews, and traditional Korcula pastries. In the evening, enjoy dinner and live music on the terrace, overlooking the harbour at sunset. There’s also a lobby bar and a café.

In the corner of the café is a small library corner, where guests can swap books.

Activities at Hotel Korcula de la Ville

There are several pebble beaches within easy walking distance of the hotel, which are great for relaxing or enjoying water sports like water-skiing, sailing and windsurfing. Korcula’s beautiful coastline is ripe for exploration, and boats are available to rent for day trips from the hotel, while a seafood picnic can be arranged for you to enjoy out on the water. Bike and scooter rentals are also available, so you can explore neighbouring towns and the olive groves and vineyards of Korcula’s green interior.
