Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Housed in the 15th-century Marenci Palace, Heritage Hotel Life Palace pays tribute to its historical surroundings with traditional décor, stone walls and exposed woodwork, while delivering modern comfort and luxury in the heart of the old fortress town of Sibenik.

Rooms at Heritage Hotel Life Palace

Rooms and suites at Heritage Hotel Life Palace are luxurious and traditional in design, with Renaissance-style artworks adorning the walls and ceilings. Glimpses of the hotel’s long history can be seen in exposed stonework on the walls and wooden beams in the ceilings, while many room feature balconies from which the old town of Sibenik can be viewed below.

Food and drink

Life Palace Café and Patisserie is located on the hotel’s ground floor and serves artfully presented light bites, while a delicious, extensive buffet breakfast is served on the pretty terrace, where ice creams and drinks are also available throughout the day. For a delicious dinner away from the hotel, check out award-winning Pelegrini opposite the cathedral: one of the best restaurants in Croatia, it serves meticulously prepared, gourmet Mediterranean cuisine.

Facilities

The hotel features a wellness area with a spa and sauna, perfect for recharging after a day’s sightseeing in Sibenik or working up a sweat in Krka National Park. Staff will be happy to help arrange excursions and transport, and car parking is available, though the limitations imposed by Sibenik’s narrow, historic streets mean it is a short walk away from the hotel.

Activities at Heritage Hotel Life Palace

With its location in the heart of the old town, many of Sibenik’s attractions are right on your doorstep. These include the stunning Cathedral of St. James, a magnificent marble monument which is the most important Renaissance building in Croatia, as well as the churches of St. Barbara and St. Ivan. Sibenik Aquarium is also nearby, and the wildlife, waterfalls and walking trails of Krka National Park are around 11 miles north of the city.
