Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Peppers Parehua is an hour away from Wellington, on the outskirts of the world-famous wine-growing region of Wairarapa.

Rooms at Peppers Parehua Martinborough

The beautiful cottages and villas feature designer furnishings, intricately-patterned linens and large, spacious bathrooms with spa baths. Couples will love the privacy of the Secluded Cottages, each with their own outdoor cedar hot tub that overlooks the lake. We particularly love the Winemakers Cottages, and the charming vintage tasting notes left there by local winemakers.

Food & drink

The cuisine at the hotel’s Pavilion restaurant is simply delicious. Expect fresh, organic produce accompanied by the finest selection of Wairarapa wines. Make your stay extra special and opt for the six-course degustation menu, eaten in the intimate dining room overlooking Martinborough’s dramatic countryside. Alternatively, walk into town and pick up some goodies to cook in your fully-equipped kitchen.

Facilities

As well as a pool, the estate has a private jetty and lake, and you can play tennis or croquet, or borrow one of the hotel's retro bikes to explore. Relax by the fireplace or on one of the terraces, with a drink from the outdoor bar.

Activities at Peppers Parehua Martinborough

Most of Martinborough’s surrounding wineries are within walking distance of the hotel, and you’re only about a 15-minute walk from town. Walk off those sumptuous breakfasts and filling dinners with strolls along the stunning nature trails to the rugged coastline.
