Breakfasts consist of homemade pastries and breads at Aylstone, best enjoyed on a sun-drenched balcony overlooking the vineyards. Enjoy cheese and wine platters with your hosts in the evening before heading out to Martinborough for dinner, and take your nightcap in the library where you’ll find a rich collection of books and magazines.

Activities at Aylstone Boutique Retreat

Hop on two wheels and go peddling through Martinborough’s blissful vineyards, stopping en route for a picnic among the vines. Following the classic New Zealand wine trail, you’ll be able to visit 30 vineyards in the region, putting your taste buds to the test as you sample all the flavours. In the evenings, try out the fantastic cafes and restaurants in the village, set around a picturesque square with a collection of heritage buildings.
