Hotel Overview

On Dunedin’s High Street, a few minutes from the town centre.

Rooms at Fletcher Lodge

Choose from four beautifully-appointed bedrooms and two luxury apartments, featuring impressive hand-carved furnishings, rich upholstery and stately ensuites with roll-top baths. French doors open onto sunny verandahs displaying Fletcher Lodge’s lovingly-maintained flower garden and the Dunedin town centre. Stay in the luxury suites to get all of this and more.

Food and facilities

The breakfast spread, put on in the grand Wedgewood Room, is a gourmet feast of fruit salads, cereals, fresh-baked croissants and locally-caught salmon. In-the-know owners Keith and Ewa can help with lunch and dinner suggestions as Dunedin’s streets are packed with them. Go to Etrusco for fine dining or head to the farmer’s market to fashion your own picnic.

Activities at Fletcher Lodge

Walking the coastal paths is definitely de rigueur around these parts, and for good reason. A severe volcanic landscape, the Otago Peninsula is regarded as New Zealand’s wildlife capital where Yellow Eyed and Little Blue Penguins roam free. The array of bays and beaches is worth exploring too, and you can even do it on horseback.
