Peppers on the Point has a serene and beautiful setting on a verdant hillside next to Lake Rotorua, yet is just 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Rotorua. 

This two-storey mansion was a family home up until 2004. Full of fine antiques and remnants of its former heyday, it still retains its wonderful old-time charm. The spacious, individually decorated suites inside the main lodge feature stunning views of Lake Rotorua, elegant private bathrooms with spa baths and separate lounge and bedroom areas. For something a little more secluded, the Lake Cottage Suites, Lake Villa and Lake Villa Apartment offer self-contained accommodation.

You can opt to dine in the grand timber-panelled dining room with other guests, in your suite, lakeside, or in the hotel’s wine cellar. Try some fly fishing on the private beach, take a walk to Rotorua, or visit the Museum of Art and History. You can also visit a local Maori village, or take a trip to the nearby geothermal sights. You can even take a floatplane from the jetty.
