Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Peppers on the Point has a serene and beautiful setting on a verdant hillside next to Lake Rotorua, yet is just 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Rotorua.

Rooms at Peppers on the Point

This two-storey mansion was a family home up until 2004. Full of fine antiques and remnants of its former heyday, it still retains its wonderful old-time charm. The spacious, individually decorated suites inside the main lodge feature stunning views of Lake Rotorua, elegant private bathrooms with spa baths and separate lounge and bedroom areas. For something a little more secluded, the Lake Cottage Suites, Lake Villa and Lake Villa Apartment offer self-contained accommodation.

Food & Drink

The focus at Peppers on the Point is on fine dining, featuring the very best New Zealand cuisine. You can opt to dine in the grand timber-panelled dining room with other guests, in your suite, lakeside, or in the hotel’s wine cellar. Daily drinks and canapés are served before dinner, so make sure you leave plenty of space for the four-course extravaganza afterwards.

Facilities

Indulge in a massage or relax in the entertainment room in between exploring the gems of Rotorua and its surroundings.

Activities at Peppers on the Point

Try some fly fishing on the private beach, take a walk to Rotorua, or visit the Museum of Art and History. You can also visit a local Maori village, or take a trip to the nearby geothermal sights. You can even take a floatplane from the jetty.
