Hotel Overview

Where

Taupo, Central North Island.

Rooms at Huka Lodge

Comprised of 18 Junior Lodge Suites and two exclusive cottages, the rooms offer oversized windows and inoffensive colour schemes, carefully designed to enhance the beautiful scenery that surround them. We suggest splurging on the exclusive Owner’s Cottage; overlooking the magnificent Huka Falls, this rural lodging offers a cantilevered infinity pool, a giant outdoor deck and a secret den heated by a roaring log fire.

Food and facilities

Enjoy home-cooked food made from regional produce, and dine in any location within the grounds - perhaps the Trophy Room, the on-site Wine Cellar, under the shade of the Gazebo, or beside a roaring open-air fire in the stone pavilion.

Activities at Huka Lodge

This natural wonderland offers an abundance of recreational activities among its grounds; try some of the world-class fly fishing on the river, tee off at the neighbouring golf course, hike or cruise around scenic Lake Taupo, or visit an active volcano on White Island. For some relaxation, have a swim in the heated infinity-style swimming pool or soak in the spa pool as you gaze out over your leafy surroundings.
