Hotel Overview

In the heart of Auckland’s fashion district.

Rooms at Hotel DeBrett

Hotel DeBrett’s 25 spacious rooms each have their own individual style and mood. Rooms feature owner Michelle Deery’s dazzlingly bright carpets and natural hues on the walls: a canvas for the owner’s personal collection of eclectic New Zealand artwork. We loved the O’Connell Suite with its mirrored wardrobes, retro furniture and, inspired by the hotel’s original art deco honeycomb mosaics, black penny round mosaic tiles in the bathroom.

Food and facilities

DeBrett’s Kitchen provides a fine menu of New Zealand and European inspired cuisine, where an elegant chandelier sparkles above the L-shaped restaurant. While away the hours at Housebar, considered one of the city’s best bars, or if you want to continue past closing time, head to the 24 hour honesty bar, where you can listen to crackling vinyl from the guest-exclusive drawing room while ensconcing yourself in a plush mid-century armchair.

Activities at Hotel DeBrett

You might want to bring a spare suitcase to Hotel DeBrett, because you’re surrounded by some of New Zealand’s most cutting-edge labels, with names such as Karen Walker and Tango gracing your doorstep. The hotel’s location is also perfect for exploring Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, Vector Arena and the famous Sky Tower.
