Price guide: £££££ More than £500 per person per night

Vomo embraces the very best of the South Pacific - snowy-white beaches washed by the clear aquamarine ocean; a bevy of water-based activities and its own turtle nursery; friendly and personal service; and faultless organic, home-grown food. All the while with a chic, Fijian-style villa as your base and the sunshine a constant companion.
Perfect forVomo is an all-rounder, with romantic touches for couples and honeymooners, and larger residences and children’s activities that are especially ideal for families.
In the knowVomo Lailai or 'Little Vomo' lies just west of Vomo itself, a completely deserted islet that makes a fun afternoon foray, for a real taste of having an island to yourself.

Hotel Overview

Where

At the top of the Mamanuca group of islands, a fifteen-minute helicopter ride from the mainland.

Rooms at Vomo

Perched steps away from the serene South Pacific waters, dotted amongst the palm trees are Vomo’s Beachfront Villas, with their chic dark-wood and crisp white interiors and personal sun decks. For amazing views, opt for the Hilltop Villas that sit on the side of the island’s mini Mount Vomo; while the Residence and Royal are the resort’s secluded residences that are ideal for a family seeking their own private space.

Food and Facilities

Organic, home-grown produce takes priority in the island’s Reef Restaurant, stocked with herbs and vegetables straight from the resort’s gardens and seafood fresh from the water; take lunch on the sand under the shade of the coconut palms and by night, dine poolside to the sounds of the sea lapping the shore. The island has countless scenic spots that are prime for a picnic - get a gourmet meal packed up for you and while the afternoon away with a long lunch in sunny solitude.

Activities at Vomo

Pay a visit to the baby hawksbill turtles in Vomo’s nursery, part of their Turtle Protection Programme, and depending on the time of year, take part in a turtle-releasing ceremony as the little ones are set free into the ocean. Take the gentle hike up Mount Vomo for 360-degree views stretching over to neighbouring isles or snorkel atop the kaleidoscopic coral reefs.  Kid’s Village is a dedicated children’s space, with its own media room and dress-up wardrobe, that will keep young castaways content for days.
