Hotel Overview

Where

On Nukubati Island, a 5 minute boat ride from the northern coast of Vanua Levu in Fiji.

Rooms at Nukubati

The 7 bures and suites at this luxury hotel are ideal for couples seeking privacy in an idyllic setting. A stone’s throw from the shore, guests are treated to unrivalled views of the sunset from the verandah. All bures and suites are spacious and tastefully decorated with a welcome lack of telephones and TVs; you’re in Fiji, after all.

Food and facilities

You’re totally spoilt at Nukubati, as all your meals, snacks, drinks – including alcoholic beverages – are complimentary. Dine in the Pavilion, in your suite or bure, or even on the beach; whenever you please. The cuisine is based on traditional South Pacific dishes, using freshly caught seafood and organically grown vegetables from the hotel’s garden. There are two bars: one in the Pavilion and one on the front lawn, or you can have drinks brought straight to you.

Activities at Nukubati

A guide will whizz you off on a private boat to the Great Sea Reef, just half an hour away, for an incredible scuba diving or snorkelling adventure. Swim over pristine coral, past manta rays and turtles, and you may even spot dolphins or whales. If you fancy surfing on the third largest reef in the world, head to Nukubati between November and March when it is peak surfing season. Paddle-boarding, kayaking and sailing are among the other activities on offer, and you can also experience Fijian culture by watching a traditional Meke dance, learning to cook regional dishes or visiting one of the local villages or schools.
