Hotel Overview

Where

Amongst fifty acres of rolling pastures and bushland in Mornington Peninsula, an hour outside Melbourne.

Rooms at Woodman Estate

Rooms and suites are all individually designed and come in three styles; Garden Rooms, Spa Suites and Lakeside Chalets. Located in the Lodge and Manor Houses, Spa Suites are luxuriously elegant, with spa baths, lake views and gorgeous mahogany four-poster beds. We also loved the three Lakeside chalets, fitted with two-person spa baths and cosy fireplaces, and featuring stunning lakeside views.

Food and facilities

Woodman’s restaurant specialises in modern Australian cuisine, and showcases the best locally and regionally-sourced produce. Dine by the grand open fireplace in winter or by the lake’s edge in summer and treat yourself to a post-dinner drink in the splendid billiards room. The daily gourmet breakfast is also delicious – set yourself up for the day with a Traditional English Breakfast and some yummy banana bread.

Activities at Woodman Estate

Indulge in a spa treatment overlooking the still waters of the lake, or enjoy the serene sounds of Woodman’s resident operatic duo over High Tea. For the more adventurous types, you can also sail on the lake, take part in some fly fishing or use the tennis court at your leisure.
