Hotel Overview

Where

On the scenic Central Coast of NSW, an hour and a half’s drive from Sydney.

Rooms at Bells At Killcare

There are 25 different suites and villas dotted around the English country-estate style gardens, including nine King Suites. It’s all about chic, luxury designs here, thanks to the work of Sydney designer Chrissie Jeffrey and the numerous Ralph Lauren furnishings. A palette of washed back blues, bleached linens and driftwood walls decorate the interior, with cosy fireplaces and king size beds. The diminutive cottages also house a kitchen and a spacious bathroom.

Food and facilities

Acclaimed Chef Stefano Manfredi has turned Bells’ restaurant into the hub of the retreat. His Italian-inspired cuisine is simply delicious, cooked with locally harvested food and vegetables from the garden. The owners have also amassed an excellent wine list that works harmoniously with Manfredi’s food. Inspired by unique Australian Aboriginal healing techniques, treatments at the day spa are perfect for stressed-out types; it’s almost too easy to unwind on the over-sized massage beds.

Activities at Bells At Killcare

Bells at Killcare is within a five minute drive of the estuarine villages of Pretty Beach, Wagstaffe and Hardy’s Bay, complete with its own fish and chip shop. You’re also less than 20 minutes away from Sydney’s iconic Palm Beach. Although there’s nothing wrong with wanting to stay nearby; explore the nearby mangrove-fringed shorelines, or visit the smattering of quaint coffee shops and cafes at your disposal.
